Here’s a video from Ruriko Harada. As stated on the videos’ YouTube page, it is a dedication to TCKs, and explores opinions of home, identity, and language. Harada interviewed three students at the University of Hawai’i- Manoa: Eris, Kazmi, and Derusu. These three talked about growing up as TCKs, their experiences with identity, fitting in, acknowledging and understanding their complex cultural backgrounds, and how they see the world today.
It’s a great interview because, as is true with TCKs, each person’s vast differences is the commonality. Eris, Kazmi, and Derusu bring interesting perspectives by sharing their histories with us. Please check out this video.
